When writing 'Seasons', I was thinking of ways not to sugar-coat how my relationship is growing and how it's grown. It's also my process of letting my partner know the beauty in us being both independent and interdependent. Seasons is a metaphor for the beautiful and cliff-hanging moments that are just a passing phases....knowing that it's not forever and that we'll always be there. As usual, I feel like I frame our situation in a more aesthetic way when I write about it, which makes me feel odd at times.
