TIP: LISTEN TO OVER 200 ART OF THE SONG SHOWS!
The foundation upon which we’ve built the Standing ‘O’ Project is the Art of the Song Archive. We wanted to come up with a way we could use this amazing resource to build an online community that would provide financial support for the musicians we love and keep Art of the Song on the air at the same time.
These are not your ordinary artist interviews. We dig deep into the creative process with the intention of inspiring listeners to find and express their own creative gifts. You’ll find interviews with well-known as well as up-and-coming artists.
Just click the “Interviews” icon in the middle of the home page or the “Interviews” link in the menu bar. Explore!

About Today's Artist:
Inspired by Paul Simon, Bob Dylan and Joni Mitchell, Gretchen Peters’ voice and guitar playing have been at the core of her music since she started performing in the folk circuit as a teenager. In 1995, Martina McBride recorded Peters’ “Independence Day,” garnering a Grammy nomination and the winning the CMA’s Song of The Year, making Gretchen Peters a songwriting sensation.
