If you help to free a butterfly from its cocoon, it won't be able to develop the strength it needs to spread its wings - it will die. It needs the struggle of leaving the cocoon to strengthen its wings so that it can FLY!
Internationally acclaimed Swiss singer Veronika Stalder is melting jazz, ethnic singing, folk as well as classical into her unique vocal style. To connect cultures and people through music is her passion.
Veronika collaborated with Serj Tankian (System of a Down) for the movie soundtrack „The Promise“ (2017-Terry George) about Armenian genozide.
She is the lead singer of the Armenian-Russian Ethno Jazz Band „Authentic Light Orchestra“ and has won several prizes, amongst the Russian World Music Award 2016. Her own group „Ndiigo“ is a melting pot of singer songwriter with senegalese Griot music.

At the battle of the band 2001 with my twin sister Patrizia. We were complete greenhorns winning three rounds of this band contest. this was such an adventure as we never expected anything!
