1: What artist would you most love to work with?
So many to choose from; I would have to put Natalie Merchant on the top of the list though, as her vocals are amazing
2: What instrument brings you the most joy?
The kazoo. Never seen the kazoo player head home alone. Kazoo is the new cowbell!
3: What was the worst advice?
The worst advice I've ever received would have to be "of course you hate it! That's why it's called 'work'"!
4: What was your first concert?
First big act would have to be Rush, Roll the Bones tour
5: What/where is the best road food?
Any small town diner.
6: What’s the best music advice you ever got?
From Dan Navarro, speaking about my Honorable Mention for "Superman": when you receive recognition from your fellow performers for your music, own it.
7: Who is your most surprising inspiration?
I draw from everywhere, so I wouldn't consider many of my inspirations surprising, but the MOST surprising might be The Clash, because I feel punk and folk are very closely related, a connection Billy Bragg has also discussed.
