1: What artist would you most love to work with?
The Marx Brothers
2: What instrument brings you the most joy?
No answer provided.
3: What was the worst advice?
"Why do you make those crazy faces when you sing? I can't even look at you!"
4: What was your first concert?
Our first concert together was at a senior home in Greensboro, NC on our first date. That was back in March of 2011. Our first show as a "real" band was at an ice cream store in Asheville called The Hop, on Valentine's Day 2012.
5: What/where is the best road food?
When we're driving? Ryan likes corn nuts, and Melissa likes peanut butter filled pretzels. Both like to stop for Mexican food on the road, because you get free chips and salsa. Ole! But the all-time greatest road food is at Bridges BBQ in Shelby, NC.
6: What’s the best music advice you ever got?
Be fearless and have fun! When you're performing, you are projecting how you feel onto the audience. You can make folks uncomfortable by being uncomfortable, or you can show them a good time by having one yourself.
7: Who is your most surprising inspiration?
The Marx Brothers (wait - did the last answer ruin the surprise?)
