I’m feeling blue but at least I’m not in the red
Steve Key is celebrating a new CD, his first release of new material in 15 years. "Steve Key with Dorian Michael" is a collection of seven Key originals, recorded April 2016, live at Sutton Sound in Atascadero, CA. Steve is probably best-known as the producer of Songwriters At Play, a live music series held at numerous venues on the California Central Coast, which is also a twice-weekly radio show on The Krush 92.5. Before he arrived in this area ten years ago, Steve was a touring folksinger who played major concert venues and folk festivals across the country and in Canada. His songs were covered by dozens of folk and country acts, including Grammy-winner Kathy Mattea. He won the New Folk contest in Kerrville, Texas, and appeared three times on the festival's main stage.
