Old stylr R&B featuring the superb vocals of Cynthia Becher. 1st single from upcoming BURNS album
Pat Burns (RIP)
PLAYING SINCE: Sang in ABQ Boy Choir at 5, 1st guitar at 13.
I don't feel I create songs as much as they "come through me." Songwriters, like all artists, develop skills and the use of certain tools serving our muses; and, when we're lucky and aware, we capture something that was already there. As a songwriter the greatest thrill after a song comes is for someone else to sing it, bring their emotion and interpretation making it their own.
(Note from John Dillon: Perhaps this song was a bit prophetic on Pat's part... So sad he's really gone home...)
