"Bloom where you are planted." As songwriters, this thought supports our approach to the process. Which is to say, write what you know, feel, experience, live, care about, dream about, wonder about, etc. No worries about comparisons to others, or trying to measure up. What matters most in the process is to care, to be deeply moved as the writing reveals what it wants to say/sing to others. Show up. Pay attention. Tell the truth without blame. Be open to the outcome. Look to your own story for the song.

1: What artist would you most love to work with?
For Lynn: Joni Mitchell. For Lindy: Leonard Cohen
2: What is the sexiest instrument?
The voice is most definitely the sexiest instrument. Oooh baby!
3: What was the worst advice?
Don't become a musician. You have to take a vow of poverty, and no one will take you seriously. You will starve. (Haven't starved yet. Love what we do. Making our living. Life is GOOD.)
4: What was your first concert?
For Lynn: besides childhood music making as a young girl, was the musical "South Pacific," singing the French song duet "Dites-moi." For Lindy, besides church music making as a boy, would be his Fort Worth, TX Boys Choir gigs worldwide!
5: What/where is the best road food?
At the amazing host homes and house concerts we play along life's way, and the healthy food we prepare and take WITH us on the road.Nutrition is key to the touring life, and so we always prepare and/or look for the freshest healthiest food we can find!
6: What’s the best music advice you ever got?
Write your own story, sing your own song.
7: Who is your most surprising inspiration?
The children we have been privileged to teach and mentor along life's way.
